@JonW thanks for the link... definitely the way i want to go... where did you get the spacers from may i ask? as FD is in the US, right?
I was pleased I did it, and think the standard Granturismo does look a little under-wheeled...
I was lucky and bought the spacers 2nd hand - I think it may have actually been from Mr Grace, where I presume they were on a car he bought / had traded in. There are other brands available I think.
Wheels staying on are down to the bolts not the spacer ask @BennyD !!!!Yes very much so, both Sam and I were discussing it yesterday and its incredibly noticeable when the car is under load round a corner, so will go down the spacer route... FD seems to be the way that most people go in regards to make of spacers from what i can see, unless anyone else can recommend some? Always keen to go with ones that are a well known and used brand as after all they are related to the wheels staying on!
I saw a car with the H&R spacers on, they might be a bit better value than the FD ones.
I get the appeal 'visually', but there must me a good reason why Maserati didn't set the cars up like that in the first instance?
Doesn't it cause additional stresses?
For those reasons, I've left my car stock (which is what I tend to do with all my cars).
Happy to listen to views on this.
I agree with this and have talked about scrub radius and what have you in the past. But I’m not going to get all Brexit Thread about it
Do you have views on Brexit then Zep? Who knew....?
Did it vote in or out?Maybe.....! I also have a belly button...
