They must have taken a lesson from Maserati parts department! 'What is the going rate for brake pads? £100. Ok, let's call it £500 but don't forget to put them in the Trident box not the Fiat one'.....

Would anyone seriously pay that money for that, I mean someone has designed that (used loosely), got it manufactured and advertised it.

They must be expecting a profit.

Zenga stuff is expensive, even without the Maserati badge attached. It goes along with the, "if you have to ask how much it is then you can't afford it", kind of thing. Quality is good though.

If you buy a Maserati, even if you bought it for Mondeo money, you are buying into a exclusive, premium, Italian brand. If you're expecting cheap, or even reasonable, pricing then maybe you should stick to Ford ;)

I was chatting to a Porsche salesman the other day as I'm after a second-hand Carrera 4 as a winter daily (while the Strad is off limits). They don't have heated steering wheels, which I moaned about. So he offered to include some leather driving gloves. I suspect he'd change his mind if I chose those ones!

Funnily enough, I have a friend who owns a lovely classic 911 964 who always drives around in driving gloves. When we occasionally take the **** out of him for doing so, he is honest enough to say it’s because the heating is so antiquated that his hands get cold!

I remember going into the Zegna shop in Milan

I was instructed by her indoors to buy her something nice.. in the end I only came out with a 100 quid head scarf

The girls in there were shaking there heads in disbelief!
