Same here … my 3200 has been advertised for several weeks and not a single enquiry! I’m not sure why as - like yours - it’s had a lot of money spent on it and is therefore a relatively good prospect vs something bought “cheap” at auction.

I think many people become enraptured by the glossy garage ads, telling us how amazing their example is - and what a bargain etc (I fell for it with my 1st Maser purchase!).

We know the many items that need thoroughly checking before purchase but an auction or back street sales garage seem to lure an unsuspecting new owner more than a private seller’s own car - even if mine is cheaper than any garage. I’m in the process of buying another house in Newcastle with garage, so I might SORN it there instead. At least, that will provide a nice drive, even if, Dog forbid, I put 400 more miles on the clock!!

I believe the history of yours is outstanding ... 25 years ... USA... surely a potential option, especially as our transatlantic cousins never got the 3200.

Yes, 25 years is not far off so there maybe some demand from the USA but I expect their preference will be for LHD cars from salt free European roads.

I'm amazed no none has bought this car yet, let alone view it. It's a bit of a jaunt for me to get to Dorchester and I'm still trying to convince myself I can afford the running costs at the low miles I intend to do.each year.

Let me think a bit longer about that and I could well be in touch to come and take a look.

Dorchester is 9 hrs of driving for me (return trip), time off is also an issue. These cars are very rarely close by. I already did a 8 hr return to look at an Alfa in lowestoft only to not buy it. Travelling costs mount up.

OK after discussion with @conaero , he doesn’t want to break the car into parts (we repair and rebuild cars, not break them! Lol)

We are now travelling to Milan 8th until 11 April. After that, I will take the car to storage at our Newcastle place and will keep it as an annual fun car. It is due MOT on 14 April - no reason why it should fail, as everything works (I took it out yesterday and it started immediately, as always - it’s not even on a charger as no electric at our garage).

One off opportunity to a known forum member. It’s yours for £5,000 until MOT is due now. No messing around - please transfer into my bank account in advance of collection. 1st to pay, owns it.

Sold as seen obviously but I believe I have outlined everything above and I can confirm that there is no finance etc against the car.

KWB called me, he's off his rocker, this is an insane deal and its a very good car that has been through our workshop and is all good.

Whoever gets it, don't break it or buy it to sell on, use it, enjoy it and be thankful that KWB has basically donated it for another member to enjoy.
