I have recently taken delivery of a Grancabrio, courtesy of @dickygrace and need the garage space. Hence, I’m selling my 4200 cambiocorsa, which will be well known to a number of forum members, having previously been on the SM Modena tour.
The car is mechanically very good, having had nearly £6k spent at Sportsitalia just after purchase 2 years ago, to fix any issues and rustproof etc. Also, a new clutch fitted by F-Tech at 74,000 miles - only 5,000 miles ago. Goodyear Eagles all round with loads of tread left. If they are worn at all, it is even, since all the alignment etc was done by SI.
It’s Sebring blue (quite rare, apparently) with a mid grey interior. Runs superbly - never let me down in over 2 years, since @conaero and Ash got their hands on it! As I said, mechanically it’s great and all the expensive bits are sorted. That was my priority, so there a few (low cost) items which could be done by new owner to improve, as follows:
Sticky buttons - I removed the goo and took them down to the white plastic base, with black lettering.
There is a black spot in the middle of the NIT, where I believe a toy was literally thrown out of the pram! Doesn’t bother me, as I can still see the screen info (what there is of it!)
@conaero had the little dents and parking touches removed, so that’s all good. I put a light scratch along the n/s front wheel arch when parking it in the garage after that SI work (yes, after I calmed down, I did get the irony but still failed to laugh about it…). My local body shop quoted £300 but as it was going into store again, they just made me a pot of paint and touched it in! Pic attached.
Will accept £9k bottom line. £8K now to make space
