Smartphone clamps? any reccomendations

Anyone got a good solution to where to put the mobile phone for navigation in a 3200GT ? I dont see a sensible place I can put a holder that wont damage leather ... maybe something that would attach to the central air vents on top of the dash? Which looks exactly the same unit as was on my Alfa GT !

I have never found a decent way to do this. I use windscreen sucker attachements occasionally if I really need it, but I always reomvce them again, as they are unsightly.

I'd be wary of sticking something on the air vents. Surely the rubber coating would become sticky even quicker with something rubbing on them continuously.

I just received a cd slot/air mount. I have a air vent mount but it seems it scratched my trim (no idea how) and dont like the location. I will post back with picture once installed.
