Not a great photograph as all the others before this...........But this one is very close to my heart and very sentimental..........This was the first time I met and touched my son (Louis) on Saturday 14th February 2004. We are not superstitious but we were given the option for the C-Section of Friday 13th or Valentines Day!

Great picture mate. I have one which has the same sentimental value. The first time I held Joseph for a short while before he had to go back in his ‘fish tank’ (all of his wires were still plugged in as you can see).
Looking at the size of him now I still can’t believe he was no bigger than the size of my hands.

Here's my most recent photo that I've taken that I like. It's Neowise Comet from Monday night. Unfortunately it wasn't as bright on Sunday night when you could pick out the ionic tail much more clearly but I'm pleased I spent that evening mostly enjoying what I could see in the sky with just my naked eyes. I did get the camera out, but not properly.

On Monday, I went up a hill nearby. This is a combination of 6 30s exposures at ISO1600 and about 150-175mm. As you can tell, the clouds then came over so I couldn't get any cool shots with the Milky Way and the windmill where I was viewing, but that didn't matter - I saw those things for real.

Thanks. It is often the crop that make the picture jump out at you.

My son and I took about 2,000 photos in three weeks in Namibia. In the end we printed and framed 16.

Lots of careful cropping, and I did 'airbrush' the extra branch out of this one before printing:

You lucky sod! I went to Etosha as well, didn't see a leopard, certainly not one with the cub. Can we see that full size please?

Wonderful photos.
