It's simple, house prices need to come down to reflect earnings. For many years up until 2000 it was like house prices were on average three to four times an annual salary. Now they are as much as 20 times! Something has to give.

@lozcb you know anything about KOD (Kodal Minerals) who are a Lithium miner in Mali? SP has been decimated to 0.029p in recent times.

Not much , Bernie Aylward is there geo, UK based managment team and suspected Chinese CCP funding , i can enquire , we would need to see or get access to their latest drilling data

I think house prices could well be decimated in the next few months.
Quite likely but not sure it will have so much impact short to medium term. If people stay put it is partially irrelevant.

However I wouldn't want to be an Estate Agent or any business heavily reliant on property liquidity/movements/sales etc. commercial/domestic or otherwise.

We are moving more into security and cyber security as seems a good business hedge against the potential impending doom.

There will always be good business opportunities whatever happens. It is just focusing on the right things/areas.

Well last week was a belter for me. ODX surged on and so did AVCT. These are turning out to be two great shares with lots more to come. I tipped UEX on Friday at 42p after they neither confirmed nor denied an offer from Welleseley at 76.9p. Previous offer of 72p and Barclays extending their investment to 8%. Small free float coupled with a great opportunity meant it went to 52p by end of play with a large £52k investment over the ask. I'm expecting a nice gap up to 60p on Monday.

I'm now investing into physical Gold and Silver from Coininvest.
Can you tip these things on here please.
Some may be interested.
They seem high risk to me but worth a punt as they’re all covid related. High risk but high return potentially.

Here’s a tip for relatively simple gains.
bet against the £.
Covid restrictions for how long?
Economy fecked as a result.
Oh and then there’s Brexit by year end!
Buy $ now or Gold.
chances of sterling being worth less in 3,6,9 or 12m- very high.
Buy back.

I've had SOLG for years in and out. Until recently I would have said it was not a great investment but that has changed. Check them out.

They have a proper gold mine of a gold mine at the moment with plenty of positive options. Wish I had loaded up more a few weeks back but it didn't look so good and I'm fairly invested percentage wise atm anyway.

Yes will do. Been writing things up for my hot stocks investment group on WA. It's going well.
I'll drop you a PM with my mobile Phil. Can you add me to your WA group . I'll try to feed in with anything I know/hear as well.

Likewise NCYT been good to me as also GGP and SOLG now looking good.

Not been in/out many other CV related stuff as they are volatile and easy to get caught the wrong side if you're not quick.

Got in and out of AML, HOC & AA this week. Not by bundles of profit as only playing with small amounts but increasing the ISA's nicely. A good tax free supplement to primary income.

Guys it is a discretionary subs service right now as I spend so much time on research. It's got 20 paid up members so far and I'm aiming for two recommendations a month with the odd punt thrown in like on Friday.

I wonder what the average household owner owned property percentage of LTV is? Anything higher than 50% would be in negative equity risk. Although not an issue if you aren't moving anywhere.

Thatll be me, but with my investment history and luck isnt a surprise :0036:

Diamonds ...............if you know your stuff buy rough uncut , as good a hedge as gold will be

Interesting play Lozster... I've never in my life thought of looking at diamond prices... I'll start looking. I'm guessing, though, you really need to know what you're doing, because there are diamonds, and then there are diamonds??

Given that every economy seems f---ed, the US more than others, why do you think the quid will weaken against it? Or against others? Isn't the primacy of the $ coming to an end?

I get the UK is knackered, but really more than the EU or US?

What's your thinking on that Wattster?

Yes but the Reserve currency will be the last to fade.

Slightly less disastrous analysis of potential economic impact

So Hilarious it was published on April fools day.

Healthcare strategist......can someone show me where in her report she refers to the massive amounts of debt created by the Fed to buy everything or the underlying debt owed by 26million that now find themselves unemployed in the Us -alone.
Nope not there.
When you need your car serviced do you take it to a dentist?

On 4th Feb she said “However, we don't assume any significant long-term financial impact from the outbreak”

Well done Karen, nice try.
