Honestly I dunno what to say. You’ve lost 5 Range Rovers worth and you’re relaxed? In fact you’ve been praying for this situation?
I am sat with kg’s of physical gold and am sh1tting myself.
You haven’t grasped the severity of this.
You are potentially witnessing the collapse of the entire global financial system.
Your cash might be confiscated!
I’m frankly stunned.
LOL.....it wouldn't surprise me if most of the world will try to carry on as if nothing has happened soon enough. Little will change until the next implosion.....just a little sooner than the gap of the last one.
Don't laugh but I bought some bank stocks yesterday! RBS, BARC and LLOY. I'm sure medium to long term they could give a good return better than other options. Who knows?!
isn’t that what people said in 1987, 2000, 2008 (and every 10years since the stock market exists)... “the world is going to end, capitalism is dead”

different risk profile I guess

It is indeed! I don't hate Friday's because there's been a bounce - retracement is a normal part of any trend.I believe that is what is termed as a "dead cat bounce".
I’m still struggling with the concept of letting 70% of your portfolio freefall so that 30% can buy low.isn’t that what people said in 1987, 2000, 2008 (and every 10years since the stock market exists)... “the world is going to end, capitalism is dead”

Don’t you mean dead bat bounce?I believe that is what is termed as a "dead cat bounce".
It really depends upon how much time you have on your hands. On the weekly chart, price is PROBABLY going to reverse against you short-termA tad more would be nice , but i'll probably bottle it come Sunday and on Monday make the call to cash up
