Shaped rear number plate

I don't like them on Jags never mind anything else. Seems to be harking back to the good old days.

I do wish there was an option to lose the front plate though. Ruins the lines. Can't even mount it offset like on Alfas.

Offset plates I think are the poorest design part of the Alfa. The never used to be offset so why now? What about replacing them onto the bonnet - is that legal?
Someone cleverer than me could probably do a photoshop example
Just an idea

Of course the other plate option is to stick a nice Italian flag over the horrid blue EU symbol.

And, before you say it, yes, that is an Italian flag on its side, not a slice of a Hungarian flag.

I like the offset Alfa plate, almost like a trade mark. I don't like the shaped plates mentioned though.

I'm fairly certain that to be strictly legal, a number plate must be mounted upright, meaning that virtually any sort of stick on isn't strictly legal.

Alfa offset plate look great to me. One of, if not the only? car company to actually consider the front plate when designing the car!
Shaped rear plates look good in the right context. A Rover 75 / MG ZT with a normal plate looks odd, as does the jag.
As for non-factory stuff, some older cars look good with a taller plate, I always wanted one on my classic Mini but never got around to it..

I draw the line at the MitsuScooby that had the offset square plate. That looked terrible, though the whole car was clearly function over form anyway...!

The rectangular plates look fine to me on a 2009 QP. The curvy plates that fill up the whole space just remind me of crappy old Rover 75s or Jaguar S-Types.

I had a set of 4dots plates on my GT3, but I wasn't too keen on the ones they have done for the GT. The dealer front plate frame had been drilled into the bumper, so using a short plate left two holes.... Their surround got round the issue....

That explains many things

Bl00dy **** - I thought all rozzers where fine upstanding pillars of the community.

They probably are now

Except for the one that want to nick you for 'number plate crime' - let me see, are we sure it's not just an excuse to make sure all the speed cameras can get you
