Definitely a scam, they used my old defender images once. Really cheap price and ask for a deposit without you seeing it.
there’s usually a story about it being located in Glasgow but they’re in London and they’ll transport it to you!! Amazes me that anyone could fall for something like this, but it clearly works.

I ve had dealings with these scammers - one said he was being as upfront and honest as possible - I knew he was nt because the car in question was mine which I had up on another well known platform.
The usual MO of these * is to spin a cock and bull story about working on an oil rig - but hey if you send me the money through a secure pay pal fully refundable account I will send you the car- honest and if theres any problem send it back and your money will be refunded .
Whats amazing is people actually fall for it usually because it is such a good deal - I always say - if it seems to good to be true it usually is

Longsight is only one of the most sketchy places in Manchester and has been for over thirty years.
A simple call to the local plod would've confirmed this. When I was a student in Manchester, I lived
closer than I would've liked to Moss Side and Longsight and I never had a reason so compelling that
it induced me to walk through either area in daylight. After dark, I wouldn't ever have contemplated.
Obviously, Georgina and other, were never going to be brain surgeons. Or even tree surgeons.

Yes if you view it, there's a buyer's guide on this forum. For 6k, is it worth an inspection? Check the subframes and clutch wear. The rest of the usual faults are not as expensive.
