IMO, paint lines that cross a panel (not on a swage line) is just wrong. Perhaps he/she realised that red/red was too much and wanted a contrast to break it up a bit and came up with a way to ruin the car which, I have to say, worked really well.

That colour scheme works really well on an Alfa SZ as it's angular. Similarly, I did something along those lines with my Stratos replica. On the flowing lines of the GT, there's the problem of where literally, to draw the line? It just doesn't work on the Maserati, IMO.

Agreed, but yours isn't trying to blend swage lines, panel edges and panel gaps like they are on the GT. Also, what works on a Rally car doesn't always work well on a £100k Gt car!

Always liked the Alfa. For years there was a red one parked just off Park Lane. Always worth a drive by.

Ha ha, you know what they are like at these Max Power events. Do we know if its a wrap or actually painted that way.

My guess it was black with red leather and then the red has been applied to the exterior aftermarket....then again, it would make sense to do it the other way round, just can see anyone ordering red with red, Stevie Wonder exempt of course.

I would bet that it was black then got the white wrap for the csr but leaving the roof.....
Its the interior that gives it away, would you but white with light interior?? Most wouldnt......
