This feels like time for a quick game of 'Goose or Cheese?'
  1. Adler
  2. Bilgorey
  3. Blue Rathgore
  4. ...

This is an evolution from a family quiz I ran a while ago - 'Motorway Services or Cheese?' which proved very popular. Bonus point for Motorway Number or County

I'm particularly pleased with #1 and #2

  1. Allerdale
  2. Annadale
  3. Baldock
  4. Bonchester
  5. Burtonwood
  6. Chevington
  7. Cullompton
  8. Dovedale
  9. Farleigh Wallop
  10. Goosnargh
  11. Harlech
  12. Kidderton Ash
  13. Knutsford
  14. Membury
  15. Pease Pottage
  16. Rivington
  17. Sedgemoor
  18. Swaledale
  19. Toddington
  20. Whitehaven

Reminds me of that old Eurobar game, 'German or gay?'

By the way, this poses an interesting problem. If one is unable to tell the difference between a goose or a cheese, how certain can one be that one isn't going on a wild cheese chase or knocking up a tasty treat of mac and goose. The possibilities for confusion and social - not to mention gastronomic - faux pas are almost without limit.

Frankly mac and goose sounds the more preferable option!

I'm saddened to realise that I recognise some of these as Motorway Services, even that one is on the motorway section of an A road. Must get out more.

I've wasted 3 minutes of my life on this. To save you the trouble: Its a garage owner complaining that customers expect too much for too little, backed up by one story of an ignorant small claims court judge making the wrong decision in one case. Nothing to do with 'wokeness' or 'everyone must be a winner', as far as I can see, except that it is an old white geezer complaining.

Sounds like a bad legal decision tk me based on basic contract law.

According to the story, the contract between them (written or verbal, it’s still a contract) was not to fix the car, it was to fit the part - simple

Now this a real rant.

Food waste. At the portimao track with a bagful of snacks to watch the racing and water and security won't allow you in . You have to dump it. The amount of food accumulated was unbelievable. Every other track in the world allows you to enter with your own food maybe not alcohol but not Circuito do Algarve. Criminal. I refuse to buy food on site on principal here now.

Wow! One of my all time favourite cars, I was lucky enough to see these in action before Group B was banned. I bet it's a handful to drive!

loved watching the group b motors in the day as well, the road going rs200 is a fairly civilised drive, well planted when at speed, the turbo certainly has a kick when it spools up and the straight cut gearbox is a bit of bugger until its warmed up, but that's part of the joy of owning such cars
