I've had a hankering for a Bentley for many years, this range rover is as close as I'll ever get :Douch

Probably a decent buy for whoever bought it though

OK, bit of a long shot here, but would anyone like to lend/rent me a 2nd Generation P38A (1994-2002) Range Rover for a month or two?
MrsMM is adamant that I can't buy one, but weirdly she said I could 'try one for a bit', so I figure that once we have one on the drive she might grow to like the idea...
This one looks OK, even got the right plate on it so everyone knows you've got a big knob

I think a nice P38 looks good in today's world get one before the off roaders destroy them all.

My problem with Discos, is I really hate the look of estate cars that looks like someone designed a saloon and then crudely bolted on a bit at the back. And all Discos seem to be the SUV equivalent of that.

Whereas most Range Rovers look like someone designed the whole thing on purpose.

Speaking of weird estate cars, I have just discovered the Lexus IS300 Sportcross, with an interesting approach to 'bolting-on' an estate car back onto a saloon, with a fake window in the C pillar.

A pretty vital design tweak:

I think @Tallman is right. There is a glazed triangle behind Doug's head, and then a pillar and then a window, which just looks fake from the outside for some reason.

Should I buy an old RR with oil all over the front diff?

That’s not the diff it’s the bellhousing I’d guess it’s a sump or rear main seal leak, could be an engine out job. Could also be the gearbox/torque converter but it does look like it’s coming from front to back.

I’d be more worried about rust on a classic Range Rover to be honest.
