Went to one of the first matches played on a Sunday at Orient. 11:30 ko, not allowed to take money on the gate so entry was via the match programme which cost £2.50.

Orient 2-2 Bolton Wanderers

Two nil down and with midfield maestro David Hoggan sent off, the mighty Wanderers fought back despite the numerical disadvantage.
