Quattroporte Vs Listed For Sale

This is a funny one....

I'm sure looking back at history on these forums, it sold (?) For 14k on Collecting Cars, then went to auction on Cars and Classics a few months later and didn't reach the 16k reserve, then went on AT for £16,300 ish a few weeks ago, and have now bumped the priced up a grand to £17,175??

What i find more annoying is the listing on AT doesn't include photos of all the damage that the auction houses listed. These sellers are chancers and time wasters.

Another strange thing is on one of the photos (MDL service) why would Diff oil be replaced with just over 20k on the clock:rolleyes:

Just spotted a white 2011 QPV Sport GT S with 25k with 6 (??) owners for £36k on Auto Trader

It amazingly comes with all trims (Vavona, Piano Black, Wengé, Titantex, Rosewood, Starwood AND Walnut!). Complete with 19“ and 20” wheels (Modena Trident…). The 20” seem to be in a new colour for that model, Grigio Mercury. Also not just the normal electric leather interior but the sort ;) after extended electric leather interior. I’m presuming each of the 5+ owners must have added a trim to the collection.

More photos added. Car is viewable in Christchurch, Dorset.
None of the 12+ cars listed on new Pistonheads Auction platform reached their reserves (mine included). It was really unclear that these were reserve auctions- they seemed to create alot of unnecessary confusion. I presume also that they are yet to reach critical mass and there are too many of these platforms in the market.People are also probably reluctant to pay the 7% fee!!.

So the car is back with me for sale without 7% uplift!! Can be viewed in Highcliffe/and near Penzance/Dartmouth for most of Sept.

Pistonheads just getting on the auction band wagon. Wouldn’t go near them myself. Most by people who buy from these places expect a bargain.

Are you Dartmouth way ? Love Dartmouth. One of my fav places in the UK.

I’ll be near Penzance 10-25th then Dartmouth 25-28th sept if anyone wants to view in either location. Otherwise Highcliffe New Forest, or possibly N Yorks thereafter if it doesn’t sell by Oct.

And yes the Dart is something special!

(Only went with Pistonheads as it was for the launch and was assured I’d get some good coverage on the website etc etc)

Speaking of white QPs, this has been on sale for ages:

MOT history is sweet-as.

A 2012 S has to be an attractive idea, even at 62,000 miles. Pity it's white, though.

On at £26,995 18 months ago:
Probably needs to be at £21,999 and go for £20,000 for a white car in Devon with that mileage.

Agreed about white. I had a Jag XF in white and that looked smart to me, but the QP doesn't quite work and I'm not sure I could live with it.
