Quattroporte Vs Listed For Sale

Just taking aloud; what a bout a Thema Turbo. An import will be over 30 years old so won’t attract the same Vat and Duty as a more modern car
Hmm, is it robust enough for 1200 miles twice or perhaps thrice a month?

There would also be a need for some creature comforts, most notably integrated Bluetooth.

Seems expensive for a LHD car here. Interior seems to have been badly de-stickied.
Relatively low miles (44k) and I believe a deal could be done considering it’s been up for sale for a while.

It would depend on if it’s sat around and degraded in all that time

Can’t see why not. What usually kills older cars it’s lack of use. Unlike the 8.32 there’s lots of bits shared with the rest of the Lancia/Fiat/SAAB range.

Yoof of today with your uga uga bass pumping out! Seriously though I had a Pioneer single din in the 3200 that did everything and more a modern car ICE does.

If the techs at McGrath try out the autochanger on the Cup when it’s next down they’re going to get quite a surprise…

.....

Giving serious thought to buying a LHD car. Got quite tempted by a Kappa Coupe and Thesis while over there last week but 30 per cent import tax means that’s a no. The Kappa was also €15k, which is not far off, well, this.

I love everything about this, especially the interior. Any thoughts from the collective SM massive?

Asking for £24,000 in 2021 at 'just under 42k' miles.

It got bid up to £13,700 on eBay in August, which is a bit disappointing but not outrageous:

And £12,300 in October:

But eBay is probably not the ideal place to get top dollar for something like this.

£18,0000 and "Price isn't negotiable" on Autotrader seems a bit steep.

In RHD as a private sale I would say it is worth £13,000-£16,000. LHD, I don't know. Maybe these guys could find a buyer who fell in love with it: https://www.prestigelefthanddriveltd.co.uk/

There are a lot of nice 4.7's for sale at the moment. Buyers market for sure.

Would the chains problem on this have been sorted by 2009?

Also says full Maserati SH - that’s probably not the boon the seller thinks it is. One out of Maserati service in the Czech Republic.

£18k is far too much for a car with such an individualist spec. I like it because I’m sodding weird…
I’d say £14k subject to the state of the suspension/service history, and prior auction results.

Maybe not that one, but in general I meant when perusing earlier.

Oh no, I completely understand the struggle! I had a similar situation with a feisty hornet when I was attempting to capture a perfect shot of my Maserati. It turned into a rather unexpected and chaotic photoshoot, to say the least.

These little winged intruders seem to have a keen eye for disrupting our moments of automotive glory. I've been on the lookout for a reliable solution, and guess what, I recently stumbled upon something which claims to be a game-changer in dealing with wasps and hornets.

Before I dive in, I'd love to hear from you and others in the community. Have you found any effective ways to keep these buzzing photo bombers at bay? Your insights and experiences could save my next photoshoot from turning into a Hitchcockian drama!

At auction again this one. I think it's the third time it's been auctioned this year?

And then it was listed on AT for 15k, then bizarrely went up to 16k, then 17k.....it's all over the place! I'm not in the market anymore but for anyone else....

Yeah, it was auctioned again a few months later on c&c. Didn't make reserve. So seller listed it on AT for all sorts of price fluctuations.

Speaking of white QPs, this has been on sale for ages:

MOT history is sweet-as.
Lots of white GTS ones here in HK, with both black and bown interior, seems to be the place where most of them eneded up for rich bankers!, 90k new with 88k tax on them for a starter!

There’s a 2012 Sport GTS on collecting cars at the moment, finishes Boxing Day?! 15k with 3 days left.
Its LHD though…

Like any auction, some risk, but a potential gem. (If you like DuoSelect).

$5,200 would have been a bargain.

Thanks, and I thought so if going after the DuoSelect...of which I'm two minds. Auction still running for a few more days...so holding fire for now. Other factor is it's in Washington state, which is approximately 2400 miles away by air...so shipping won't be cheap.
