I did have a quick look at this car. The outside looks good but does have the usual stone chips on the nose. The front seats are in a bit of a state.

While I was looking at it, the guy who had driven it up from the south coast, which is where he garage for it from, wandered over. He wasn't a salesman but he did say it drove really nicely and he really enjoyed the drive.

Out of interest what kept you from pulling the trigger?

I don't doubt a 4.7 is quicker than a 4.2, but especially now in the ev world it's not outright acceleration why we like a maserati, it's the noise and feel. As my range rover is awaiting an airbag I'm dallying my 4.2 duo qp. It's **** in traffic , but is great fun at low speed with a heavy foot as the rear p zero s provide minimal grip

No absolutely. Whatever is best condition regardless of the engine size. He just made me laugh as he specifically said if you drive a 4.7 then get in to a 4.2 you’ll think somethings f@@@g wrong with it lol

I would concur.
The transaxle gearbox might make it handle a bit better in extremis but getting to that point is unlikely and a little overstated.

I really fancy Ewan’s old one at Nuvola, mind, purely because of the colour combo, but a 4.7 GTS is where I’d be looking. More money of course, but more car…

There was a blue GTS 4.7 with a numberplate that spelled out knob. It didn’t have a black or carbon interior (yay x2) but last I heard on here it was in dire need of some TLC and had been bounced from one dealer to another. Anyone else remember ‘knobby’?

I don’t think this site exists anymore but if you fancy a blue 4.7 sport GTS this gave a breakdown of the specific model by colour. There are were only 7 blue ones registered here in uk according to this, which Knobby will be one! Plus, I’m guessing some of the others may have a black or carbon interior. So your pool is small ! The numbers may not be accurate but they do look about what you’d expect.

Should have said, "Nice chap to talk to."

I forgot to mention that there was a spare wishbone in the boot.

Went to go see it today.. not bad but interior is a state! And in regards to the wishbone apparently the previous owner could only purchase a pair so he kept one spare.. and did you notice the rear box in the boot also? He also deleted that to make car sound better which it does tbf
