Yeah Full on black but the sticking is in red.

Great shout. Mine is full on black too barr the red stitching. As its a high miler at 66k it may have seen its fair share of rain and snow so I would check out the underside (especially at the front) for signs of corrosion. Get it up on a ramp if you can and have a good look around (especially the front subframe, which can be prone to rust) or have whoever inspects it for you check it out.

Good luck. Hope this example meets your expectations and you're cruising down the boulevard QP style very soon! Awesome car the QP - you'll love it.

Just realised my number plate should work on the QP. GTA...GT....Auto... Or that a stretch to far?

At least GT hints at something fast, which it is!

I had thought about getting a plate for my QP but it is a tricky one isn't it with Q not a possible letter in a number plate (plates beginning Q are reserved for kit cars anyway aren't they?). I know you can place a screw or a full stop immediately after an O but it's not quite the same really.

I think otherwise going generic with something resembling the marque is probably the way to go. There are lots of plates that begin MA55A (followed by two letters) available from the DVLA at the moment. That would suit that car perfectly I would have thought seeing its a 2006 plate. You never know, your initials may be available to follow the MA55A! Mine are available but my car is an 04 plate! :(

Yep very close I need to get up there and check it out in the skin but all has checked out so far and it's had an indi check from a masser dealer up north just before it came down this way. Ie a week or so ago so Everything looking good. Can't find when the clutch was last changed but on the indi check it came back with just over 20% wear so must of had a new one quite recently.

CT, Take care, clutch readings can be altered? Which Maser dealer, or indie did the inspection? Some Maserati dealers are not worth a jot, but most indies are. A good idea might be to find a local indie to the car and ask if they have ever worked on it?? You need to ask to see the service history and make a note of who worked on it, check it out!!! There is a thread with a list of indies around the country. It needs to go up on a ramp and be looked at properly, make this a condition of the sale, don't take anyones word for it, GET AN INDIE INSPECTION!!!
You need to know that all the expensive bits are taken care of, Brakes, Clutch, Underbody, Full Service History.
Cheers

I'm getting the names of the dealers and indis that have done all known work on the car, the inspection was done by a dealer so will connect them separately.
From what Ive been told so far, and I will be going up Monday to have a look for myself, but
It's going to need tyres fairly soon.
Brakes are about 50%. Warn
The subframe has some surface rust and there is some surface rust around the front inner arches, all easy enough to clean up and sort out( pending MY inspection)
Suspension is good
Wheels have just had a fresh refurb.
Service is upto date and full history.
11months mot.
Requires tax in the next couple months.
A few stone chips.
Wear on the drivers seat but no excessive
Low tyre pressure sensor fault. Will be fixed for the sale.

Im sure there will be more on the report but can wait untill I see it, I will check the report out and any thing that gives me a doubts after checking with the garage that did it then I will get another one done myself. Or walk away.

I am being slightly swayed by my heart but my head is ruling.

Can anyone give me an idea of the size or prices of the 20inch tyres for the QP?
£300 mark is that each side?
I'll get the car up on some ramps and strip the underside before reselling it.
