I have a 2015 qp dv6 which I've had for eight months and it's been superbly reliable. Last week it went in for its annual service and had brake pads fitted all round. I drove it home where it sat all weekend. On attempting to go out in it yesterday it started fine but when I go to select drive or reverse it flips straight back into park after a two second delay. There are no warning messages. If I put it in neutral the same thing happens but i get a message on the dash saying "please press brake to select a gear" my foot at this point is firmly planted on the brake. As a result i am completely stranded and can't drive into work. Recovery are on their way but it seems no coincidence that I have these problems after all four sets of pads were replaced. The question is, does anyone have any ideas what the fix might be? If I have to have recovery to the dealer I have to pay above 20 miles distance and it's a looong way to the dealer that did the work...any suggestions on the fault would be much appreciated. Thanks
