Pretty sure that the 3200 is all leather. This from someone who (in his yoof) worked for a company providing leather to the major car companies.

Oh well...At least I will save some money on leather care products then...so what is best to keep the PVC looking 'like' leather?

Jay could give us the definitive answer.........maybe ask Rob to phone him and make the query, though not sure he mentioned any PVC cleaning materials in his posts.

Not sure it makes much difference to be honest....the 'fake' leather is so good now and the grain on real leather is usually corrected, so unless you take a panel off it's very hard to tell.

While looking around it seems that there's two types of dashboard tops for the 4200.

One with the stitching around the instrument binnacle: 75916
and one without:
75917

Is there any difference between the two? I have a GS with the latter style but the dashboard top has gone all sticky for some reason, I believe it might be vinyl but I'd like to know if anyone can confirm for sure.

Yes I know this is a decade old thread I didnt feel like this justifies an entire topic on its own.

Probably the incredibly thin pvc that is vacuum bonded to thin grey foam. Bubbling and rolling back is where it comes unstuck. Mainly because the factory cuts the edges flush instead of folding it over and bonding to prevent shrinkage. Trimmer I know has done a lot of Ferrari dashes for the same reason apparently. If it goes too far there is no way to fix it as gluing is visible and it is so delicate it tears as you stretch it back.

Yep checked the consel around the rear vents, not leather.
The rear Pillars are covered in man-made
I am pretty sure the seat faces are cow, but I think the sides and maybe even the rear too are fake.
The door frames on mine have a 2-3mm cut in them and it does not look like hide, hence the ease of damage.
