Having just done some internal cleaning on the 4200 I am surprised to note how much is covered by PVC or Leatherette. Rear consel, Door Cards, sections of the covernings over the rear body work...even think the sides of the seat may not be cow!
Though coulda swore this was gunna be a more interesting thread based on the thread title.....

at least it will be cheaper to replace. I had a thought the other day about how much it would cost to get the boot trimmed in leather to match the car interior. I think it could look great or am I just a pimp?
thank you for your opinion and comments
That's why you need a 3200......every inch is real leather! They obviously realised this was costing them too muchy though, hence the change for the 4200s....

Yes Frank..I'm not getting involved
Maybe maserati were going through their 'green' phase; 'pleather' is to cow as 'dolphin' is to tuna (friendly) always check the label..
Cows fart as well...hence Global Warming...bugger those Bovines!
Yep checked the consel around the rear vents, not leather.
The rear Pillars are covered in man-made
I am pretty sure the seat faces are cow, but I think the sides and maybe even the rear too are fake.
The door frames on mine have a 2-3mm cut in them and it does not look like hide, hence the ease of damage.
It all looks good and leather'ish but I am surprised...and I would hasten to add that the 3200 is the same.
