This is my first Maserati,I have a 1991 500SL(Lucy) and just sold my 1984 Jag XJS (Mary).
I took ownership last week and drove her up from Cape Town over 3 days ,1600km.
She went like a dream a bit thirsty but I guess it was the way I drove her.(14litres/100kms)

Fyffes was , possibly still is an old established british importe/transporter of Banana's , we used to have a guy on here (mick) with another Giallo spyder called Nana

I took ownership last week. She has 35000kms on the clock and has the Skyhook suspension and cambiocorsa gearbox.
There are quite a few around the country.We have only one dealership in S.A. Vigletti Motors with workshop in Cape Town and Johannesburg.They are also the Ferrari importers.
In Durban I know of 2 spyders ,mine and a friend of mine Dave who has a 2006 Gransport.I am led to beleive that there are 9 Spyders in S.A. ,that is CC,COUPES and 3 Gransport.
Dave has a Merak SS and a Grand Turismo.The Merak is up for sale.
Over thepast 3 years the Maserati mark has become more evident.There is a car club but I think it is affliated to the USA club.
