Black Friday....if you are ever in Reuilly, this is a fantastic restaurant with a small hotel that is owned and run by a couple from Japan. They came to France a long time ago and never left.

36260? That looks about right for a stop midway to the south. Is that the Maserati parking space or is there anything more secure?

This is a SMALL town...there is plenty of space to park and compared to Paris, Nice, etc you have acres of space. There are also some nice vineyards and a “wine route” to follow if you are so inclined.

Indeed. Drove the entire coast along the D514 from Pegasus Bridge to Pointe du Hoc...Seeing the US, British, and French flags flying on nearly every building gives a sense of co-operation and joint endeavour that is not easy to find today.

It’s often surprising where they left from, there weren’t enough big ports along the English coast so they embarked from all over the show.

We were at Donald Healey’s old home at Trebah in Cornwall last month.

Yep it does make us all reflect. I was at Pegasus Bridge just before the 50th and the old bridge had just been dumped in a field with a new one in its place. It was a shame that they did not do it a few months later.
