It was ace. Even our teenagers were “gassed”. In fact, one of them got the best shot - below.

The lodges are built to a very high standard. The evening meal is delivered and was excellent. The breakfast a bit so so. Overall a great treat.

N is for Nardi and perhaps one of the strangest cars to race at Le Mans

At the Franschhoek Motor Museum - also a lovely collection of Alfa’s - Orange Montreal, Yellow “Il Mostro” Zagato Spider. Normally they have a great Ferrari collection on show but they must have rotated them for some others. This one caught my eye, quite unusual with lots of chrome up front
