A good mate of mine had a 275GTB/C (Competitzione), Iirc, one of only 13 RHDs. What a car! When we finished the drive, I was sweating like a pig, wracked with back pain and deaf in my left ear (because I’d had the window open) but I didn’t want to get out. He sold it so he could buy a McLaren F1. :D

Love the 275GTBs, just bought this old Osprey tome on them, a great little book....

If you watch 'Le Mans' you can see Derek Bell's silver 275GTB parked up by one of the caravans in the paddock scenes ;)

Strange isn't it, everyone raves about the 275 but I just can't get on with it, the lines look clumsy compared to the 250 before it and the later 330, each to their own

Perfectly understandable - for some reason the Daytona doesn't do much for me and I much prefer the 275 and the 330 series of road cars. Can't argue about the 250 either, from any angle it's a *******. I also prefer the pretty much unloved 365GTC4 over the Daytona!

I sort of agree with the Daytona but is was my childhood poster car and I can't forget what it meant at the time. The 330 is a sweet thing, different to anything before or after and if I can't have a 250 I would happily settle for one

Piper GT at the NEC show a couple of years ago, always liked those, no idea how many were made but they never seem to come up for sale.... half expecting Ed Straker to step out of it....!
