"Heathrow criticises Border Force for 'unacceptable' queues" BBC News
Coming from Dublin to Bristol airport no queue. At Dublin: your ID, at Bristol nobody, no police, no customs, nothing asked. There is a dedicated (back) door "Jersey, ...North Ireland, Republic of Ireland,... " (if I remember well the name). Don't tell :):)

Last time I came through Manchester, it took 25 mins including picking up my luggage. I’m arriving tomorrow again. Gawd, I’m hoping for the same....

It's wildly variable everywhere. I used to go to the USA 2-10 times a year, and immigration could be anywhere from 10 mins to 6 hours.

I came back to Manchester on Thursday evening and it took 20-25 mins from walking off the flight including luggage

All seems to depend on the time and if several arrive at the same/similar time
