Baahhh, that's nothing, I've wee'd in Clive Dunn's swimming pool, so there! This was back in the '70s, he lived five doors down from my grandad ;).
A guy I know went to the IOM TT in the early 80s with 4 mates on their bikes , they hadn't booked anything other than the ferry there

Got late in the afternoon and all the campsites were full
Then they spotted a sign in a garden , camping

Enquired , full, sorry , but the guy took pity on them , the old chap next door sometimes let's people camp, i'll ask

OK it's a yes , but no noise and stay down the bottom of the garden.

Great, thanks

Next morning they were woken up to a voice outside the tent
Lads lads

Oh **** what have we done

He opens the flap and the owner of the house is stood there with a tray with mugs of tea on it

Thanks very much , stands up and realises the guy stood in front of him is Norman Wisdom

He was as nice as you'd expect , by day 3 he was making them bacon sandwiches and wouldn't take a penny for the camping

Trust they were home made and great to see mugs and not some fussy cup and saucer :p

Ill hang my head in shame they were not. Came from the bakery up the road, by eck it was hard graft getting them, there’s a charity shop next door to it. This in the window made me chuckle.

Christmas cake is homemade though. Only 3 weeks of feeding it with Brandy left.
