Wasn’t there a bloke with a dealers in Kent who claimed to have Lennon’s mini and got really uppity when it was proved to be a fake?

Not sure about one in Kent but there was one in East Anglia who said the same thing way back in 1999, I went to have a shuftie and although a nice period Cooper S with typical Radford / Wood & Pickett touches, it was definitely not Lennon's car. The two most common rumours about his Radford are that it was given away to one of his housekeepers in '68 before being written off, or it was stolen and taken to Ireland, never to be seen again. It's probably long dead by know whatever happened to it. George and John's had consecutive reg' numbers as they were registered on the same day in 1966 by Brian Epstein's car company 'Brydor', LGF 695D and LGF 696D.

Not an advert you would see someone doing see days......Love the TR7 Phil. Back in 1982 i bought my first sports car and it was a toss up between a TR7 and Fiat X19.... Ended up with the Fiat and only because one came along at a bargain price that needed work doing to it and my Dad being a mechanic said he could do all the work for free including a complete respray. He did a great job as we paid £600 for it and when I sold it I go £1650 for it.....

In Europe the X19 came out in 72 and I first experienced an early 1300 one when living in Switzerland around 81 working in a Fiat Garage and thought it was an amazing car especially driving around Lake Thun Interlaken :)

Dads business partner bought an early 1300 X1/9 for his wife, I remember most winter school days popping round there to spray it easy start on the way to school as hated the damp. The benefit the wife was what today we would call a MILF, and she would always be in the kitchen in some sort of revealing bed wear always perked me up on those cold winter mornings ;)

Me too back in the 70's women used to wear nice nightwear like the baby doll nighty very sexy indeed might have to do a bit of internet research.

Already on it Phil, some of the films I've found so far are 'quite good'. Lots of demo films from the toy industry amongst 'em too....!

Back in the '70s my mum's best pal Monica used to spend the whole day waltzing around the house in her frilly nighty, despite being from Coventry she looked the epitome of a Swedish leggy blond model, all six foot of her. God I had an ace childhood.... ;-)
