Always liked this pic, it's been posted on various forums many, many times, but it's actually photoshopped! The original pic of Lennon's fabby Phantom V was taken in May '67 on the day his chauffeur Alf picked it up from JP Fallon's coachworks in Surrey, this is the original pic....

The photoshop pic of Harrison's equally fabby Radford Cooper S was taken at Goodwood in 2008 not long after it was restored, during the resto the original bespoke wrought iron bumpers were replaced with standard Mini items painted gold, Mk1 Cosmic alloys were replaced by modern repro Minilights and the Hills 'raised digit' number plates were replaced with modern pressed alloy ones. Some of the psychedelic paintwork is slightly different to the original too, which was done in the summer of '67. This is the same car photographed in George's back garden in '68, just before he sold it to Eric Clapton, George got it back c.1970 and it still belongs to his family....

Hope that makes sense! ;-)

Ringo's Hooper hatchback Cooper S was also there, his and George's had Beetle rear lights whereas Macca's and Lennon's Radfords both had Aston DB5 rear lights....

Macca's car....

Lennon's black Radford Cooper S disappeared off the face of the earth sometime in '68 when he shacked up with Yoko, since then various 'sighting's and claims to ownership have come out of the woodwork but so far the real McCoy has failed to materialise.

Here's John arriving in his Radford at Abbey Road on 20th December '66 (for a recording session for Strawberry Fields) he was a **** driver by all accounts and his chauffeur Alf took him everywhere most of the time....

Wasn’t there a bloke with a dealers in Kent who claimed to have Lennon’s mini and got really uppity when it was proved to be a fake?

Ah yes the farting Boxer Dog

I let ours have a fray bentos pie once , it was gone in 15s
I used to take him in the truck with me , next day we set off for Glasgow, a 9 hour round trip

Got as far as Lancaster and he started getting restless , then the first fart

**** me I'd never smelt anything like it, June , hot and stuck in a truck with a dogs rancid farts every 5 minutes for 9 hours , each one with the aroma of fray bentos pie and sh!t

It was 23 years ago , to this day I've never cooked another fray bentos pie , even looking at them in the shop brings back the memory of the smell
