Haha, yes I remembered the Gordini but that to me was just generic name for the Turbo 2 so thought best not to dig my hole any deeper!!

It was front engined and front wheel drive.

You've missed the 5 Gordini Turbo from that list just to add to the confusion!

Now we are getting to the real confusion, a Renault 5 Gordini Turbo was indeed a turbo version of the FWD Gordini here in the UK the European version was the Renault 5 Alpine Turbo both were replaced by the Renault 5 GT Turbo

The numberr plate stays with the car, and suits it well, JA56GUA. so that rules out Golfs and Sierras. New tyres were fitted a year ago, and the wheels have just been refurbished, she looks fantastic now, and is a real head turner.

I do like the X150 XKR and for the money they go for I'm going to scratch the itch one day.
