I am sure you are right Phil but I am talking about 'from new'. I remember the regular sight of bonnet up Jags by the side of the road in the 70s! They are probably better now they have been rebuilt by enthusiasts!Any vehicle that's well maintained wouldn't have a problem in my opinion.

Depends how it's driven - with him (MrRR) behind the wheel I'd have done the same - with me it would have been a different story - but it does look tempting - I've always wanted to cycle the Trondheim-Oslo route
Trondheim to Oslo? Goodness, now there is a cycle trip. Take in the Atlantic road so you don’t have to wash for a day or two.
