If your Maser has metal pedals then they can be repositioned.

They can, but the law states that pedals should have a minimum of 50mm spacing between them.....well, the law being Ed China when he was doing the Grale restoration.

the old alfa 33 pedals were next to each other...i drove one and couldnt brake properly........

The same pedal box was in the 'Sud. I remember I had to wear certain thin-soled narrow shoes to drive my 'Suds and even then my left sock would get dirty from the sole of my right shoe as the clutch pedal travel passed the brake pedal.

I actually saw an Italian friend driving a 33 in Moon Boots - I've no idea how he did it.

Thought the OP was wanting to widen the gap. I know on mine that you could move the brake pedal about 3cm left.
