Luckily I think the Ghibli has the largest boot I've seen on anything but a Lincoln Town Car so I could cram a lot in there. Not sure about the next trip though as we are going for three weeks. There might be pressure to try and squeeze another case in there.

As long as there is nothing on the back seats and the boot shuts I'm happy :)

Overnight case / bag on the back seat is fine, then you don't have to mess about hiding stuff... ;)

My better half is already wondering how we(she) is going to fit in everything needed for the 10 day Spanish trip in the boot of the GT. I suspect I won't be taking much! :)

Yeah. I get tend to get a smaller space. For a long trip, with multiple stops, we take one large case and a smaller one. The big case tends to stay in the car for most stops and things transferred between the cases when we need to. Like I said though the Ghibli has a huge boot. You'll need overnight bags on the back seat in the GT :)

Intending to go to Italy in September for a couple of weeks. Would like to fly into Pisa or Milan and hire a Maserati. I noticed the Ferrari rental by PH - is there any company renting Maserati - gran cabrio preferably ?

The rental Ferraris PH got, and the ones I was offered were by the minute / hour. I would dread to think what even a couple of days would cost.
Best bet is to google it, see if there are any bespoke rentals available

You can rent a Maserati at Bazel airport but it is more than the cost of driving yours there!

Just got around to watching this .... The first two episodes and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. In fact enjoyed it more than TG and GT. Paul I thought was really good and after talking to him at Donnington it didn't suprise me he has a passion for cars. A very genuine car fan. He should replace someone on TG.....Don't see why most don't like the chap.

Mrs Catman suggested he'd make a great replacement for Matt Le Blanc. I quite like him as well. Although he slated the Alfa Sud when he drove one.

I have to say that I agree Andy, I have quite enjoyed them and the Germany one in particular - looking forward to the French one next week and hoping that he drives an Alpine

Piece of cake! We did four of us for two and half weeks in mine and it was brilliant.

Admittedly Mrs Crud didn't bring as much as she might have liked.

I was surprise that i did too. First week in Italy excellent, the cars the stars especially the 30s ALFA. To give e him grace he did say that the Sud was exceptional design for its To meet down by Russian steel andagricultural workforce, don't I know it, I had sprint veloce. Utter delight

He said the Sud was a ahead of its time in performance and handling just fell apart.....I thought that was pretty spot on....Remeber a friend of my Dad had one and it was a nightmare.......Bits fell off all the time but when it was going it was a great car....but it wasn't going that often
