Hello All,
Was just looking for some information on how to retrofit a cruise control on my 4200 and google send my right to this forum.
Thanks already for the very helpful guide !

I live east of France, near the german border, and own a 2004 coupe cambiocorsa bought in Italy 2 years ago. Was looking for a good "family" car, more unconventional than a Porsche 911 .

I also own a 2001 Honda S2000, bought 7 years ago.
Perfect for occasional track days, and sometimes to replace the daily car.

Welcome. Retrofit cruise is easy, you need the stalks from the Alfa 166. You can find them on EBay.

Thanks all for your warm welcome !

Thanks also to Conaero... seeing the 1st topic created I already ordered the part on Eurospares & tried to install it last week end
Of course I blocked on the steering boss step, without having a puller... I will organize to do so.

I also installed the electrochromic rear view mirror ... plug'n'play if you have the phone setup, 30 minutes max.

The rest of the car is completely stock. So is the Honda S2000 (which is rather unusual).

Congrats on your purchase.

Cruise control was my first mod for 66 quid. Makes long distance so much easier.

Too tip! Make sure that your new indicator stalk has the spring loaded brush installed on it. It will be obvious once you take your old one off. If the new one doesn't have one you can remove it off your current one by pushing down and turning it to release like a key. Learned from experience!!! :)

There is a serious amount of info on this site and I've learned a lot just from reading and subscribing to threads.

Happy motoring.

Adie.

Cruise is cheap!! I would have had it on my 3200 if I had it

Never an option. Davy has fitted it though but it involves splicing the pedal pot wires and after I've just nailed my running woes I ain't going anywhere near the wiring again!

What is it, a brick on the accelerator? ;)

If it had a maserati badge on it I bet it would cost 4 times your Alfa brick!

Welcome Anthraks - you have joined the best asylum on the web.

Welcome. Lovely pair. I've had 2 S2000's in the past and LOVED them. Tried to get Mrs Catalan interested in one when her SLK went back a few months ago but to no avail. Perfect combination.
