Yes I pounced on that straight away Ambient. The owner Mark Perry has done more or less what I plan to do with mine, though I'll not be turbo-charging for the time being. The figures are pretty impressive - 160 bhp and less than 950 kgs. I'm aiming for between 130 and 150 from twin carbs and a similar weight. Both Mark and Oliver Vayle who owns the Green Monster above are Exxy club members and their cars are well known. The Green Monster is for sale at £8K (last time I checked). If it were a bit less I'd junk mine and buy it, as it's a stunning motor (if you like that sort of thing).

What is there not to like,they've done all the R&D, although £8K would also buy you an entry level 3200 Maserati needing work

Might need a few bits and bobs Ambient, but nothing more than that I believe. The brakes could be upgraded and a custom exhaust would pull a few more pony's. After that flow the head and swap / re-jet the carb and it's good for 250bhp+ per ton.
