Indeed. I do these, custom made with a deeper boss than the off the shelf items and a spanner to change it.

A deeper adaptor would be better Zep.
Should of looked harder on the forum would of saved a lot of time and effort

Good afternoon Zep,
As my oil sender (3200GT) is intermittent, and I now have a hoist to get underr the car, could I impose on you for the details of the replacement oil sender advised above. Regards,
Chris,

Chris,

I am afraid that the sender and adapter I make is for the 4200 only, so won’t fit your car.

Sorry about that.

I think I remember being told that David Askew does an alternative for the 3200.

Try giving it a clout if you can get in, or try and press the top downwards/inwards with a pry bar. If you look inside one you will know why. Worked on mine .

Thanks Loz, I remeber you posted this repair option on the facebook site, I'll give it a go now I can get at the bloody thing. The most concerning defect at the moment is an intermittent temperature sensor, talk about ruin your driving experience. When the temp sensor stops working the car's ECUs obviously think the car is cold and goes into 'choke' mode for want of a better description, and because it isn't cold runs too rich. So anybody have a temperature sensor alternative/replacement part? Cheers Chris

Part is magneti Marelli 402 183 01. I believe it fits lancia, fiat bravo 2.0 16v, Alfa 1.8 16v ts etc.

Just found the Temperature sensor part on the Euro Spares website Part number 585079801 for Aus $19.70. And as I'm ordering the tie rod ends for the stabiliser bar as well, part munber 386600139 (Aus $99.03 ea) I'll save on the postage! I'll get some pictures of the tie rod end replacement.

Well our friends at Euro Spares have let me down. Despite posting availability of both sensor and tie rod ends of the stabiliser...Nil stock both, no available substitute, they took my money initially and have reversed the transaction? I'm using Dave's part number on eBay.
