Enjoy mate , just be careful of those turbo's cutting in as you pull out of the bends/roundabouts , they have a tendency of catching people out , some pics when you have time would be nice , after that smug sickly grin has disappeared, take care mate

regards loz

Thanks to both of you! I feel the car's really great, the most important thing is the previous owners kept it well and it just like brand new one (I mean the interior); and the odometer is just a few hundreds over 20,000 KM!

Yes, got a problem on the check engine light... hope that is not a big problem! <finger cross>

Still remember the day I first picked up my 3200, so elegant, and so viscous all in the same car.

As Loz says watch the turbos spoiling up out of the bends and take care in anything other than bone dry conditions.

We will get you sorted with your other problem.

What part of this rock are you from?

Hi,

Thank you very much for all your response. It's nice to be in this forum and meeting nice people.

Believe that I am pretty far away from everyone of you... I am from Hong Kong. :D

welsome to "Team Trident".
The CEL (check engine light) was often lit for my first six months. Never replaced any componenets, but lots of throttle pot resets and a few ECU resets (battery disconnect) "cured" mine.

That and plenty of driving, I am convinced that leaving these cars standing does them no favours at al.

Yeah, they aint keen on humidity, or cold temps......or endless rain.....;).....need to be used......unless in their homeland when they take them out twice a year........on the 1st and 2nd of July and it does them no harm!!!

Hi Paul,

Well.... I would say, there is more GT or Quattroporte in Hong Kong rather than 3200 plus 4200 / GS.... Hahahaaa.... Maserati's brand had been "slept" for quite a while in Hong Kong. However, starting from, I think, 2008/09, more and more people got Maserati and the brand is being recognized as an expensive and prestige brand.... kind of an alternative to Porsche.... Ummmm.... to certain extend, to the common people, the brand is even more prestige than Porsche, since there are too many Porsche on the street already... you know, people love to look at the rare stuff.

BTW, if you say how many 3200 in Hong Kong.... I can tell you that normally, I won't see another 3200 other than mine normally.... of course, there are 3 or 4 3200 sit in the second-hand car market, but not too many running on the road.

Best regards,
Michael

Thank you Michael for the enlightenment, its always interesting to see how the marque carries across the shores in rarer territories.

If I was running round in the only Maserati on the island, I would be very proud....never ran with the crowd, always did my one thing.
