This is the best I could do

It feels to me like everything has been improved over the old car including the engine…Yes I can hear all the noise anoraks now whittering on about the noise but the the truth is this V6 is an epic engine for performance and I am sure it will be exhilarating in the new GT as it is in the MC20. The one thing we all know is the old GT was under powered in the end and this addresses that big time and with a engine that no doubt will do more than 2 miles per gallon. Maserati made one of the best sounding V8’s in the old GT straight out of the factory but owners still wanted it louder so I am sure the new car will lend itself to aftermarket loudness if so desired. MC20/GT … I am in love with Maserati all over again after being unfaithful over the last 6 years or so…

In all honest, in an ideal world, I would take the new GT with the Strad engine, box and brakes (not the front bushes)

4 secs to 60 is plenty quick enough and the sound more than makes up for it…..I see another project coming up :p

Great pics. It does look like the distance behind the driver has been shortened. Have they released the dimensions of the car yet?

In our 'old' Granturismos' the fuel tank is between the rear seat and the boot so I wonder how they have dealt with that this time viz a viz rear seat leg and headroom. Ditto changes from petrol to electric spec?

It's very similar in size to the 'old' Granturismo.

There was little to no rear leg room in the car I photographed, the front seat backs were up against the rear seat.

Thanks. Like many I first went to Maserati with my 3200 over twenty years ago to allow me to carry kids in the back. Whilst I don't need that aspect anymore you do get used to them.

This is looking encouraging....still not sure about the lights...but otherwise.....yes!

It is also typical Maserati - design a great car......just in time for a recession....

As an indicator of the interest on PH the Mustang thread has four times as many posts as the GranTurismo thread. Both posted on the same day.

What I like is that they seem to have address the small issues I had with the original. The rear lights looks much better on the new car as always thought it was one of the weaker designs on the old car and the stance looks much better but seeing it in the flesh will confirm that one.
