A thing of beauty. I know that the old V8 engine is a classic but this new engine feels like the right move and will bring the marque fighting with the big boys performance wise. For me this new GT is a fantastic step forward for Maserati and improves on the old GT…I bloody love it.

Gorgeous. It has to make someone intent on a DB11 stop and think. Maybe even someone thinking of a Roma. Great to see Maserati back to building what it has always been best at - stunning looking GT cars. It’s just a shame the market for stunning looking GT cars has traditionally never been strong enough (hence the repeated financial troubles at Maserati and Aston Martin).
Fingers crossed they sell enough Grecales to allow them to build a few of these.

Agreed. The old DB11 would have had a tough fight against the new Granturismo, but the imminent facelifted DB11 (DB12, maybe) will be some stronger competition. Only the Maser will be a V6, as I understand, the Aston will be hanging on to the Merc V8.

Agree with @Ewan and @Felonious Crud. I’d also throw a 911 992.2 (due next year) into the mix of heads to turn.

In that range, the Folgore should be a competent alternative to the future 992.2 Turbo as it is speculated that it will get the hybrid set-up to achieve a range-topping power differential over their base, Carrera S and GTS models.

Those F35 's are always flying over my place at home training , awesome noise luv it , in early march just before I came away must have been around 20 i think heading out to europe , most likely Poland
