£4k up front, 5k miles per year and a base model car. That's a cr@p deal with what appears to be a good headline rate. That's £7.5k per year for 5k miles. The original post deal was £6.8k per year for 10k miles.
Both pretty good deals for the car TBH. But I agree with MAF. the devil is always in the details - as soon as you price up the petrol with a few nice specs (which I think are essential on it) - you are looking at a significant deposit and monthlies >£500 / month.
My mate called up leasing company that was advertising £425 pm, 10k miles and 9 months upfront. They said they couldn't access the national system to book and when they called back, price was £700 pm. It's just another marketing ploy.
