Hi Guys,

Just a quickie to say Hi!.

So I bought my first Maserati (GranTurismo S MC Shift) a couple of month's ago and have to say I am hooked already :bearlove:, The sound of it is just amazing and I always find myself going for that Sport button as soon as I start her up! It's a sure way to put a smile on my face, even after a crappy day.
( I learned it wasn't too wise to use the Sport button in the wet :saifi4: )

The only pics I have are the dealer ones at the moment :D

Beautiful car, as a fellow new Maserati owner I can only say that it just "feels so good" every time I get in and turn the key. Funny thing is there is a 11 year difference between your car and mine, but the sensation is just the same :)

Hi Exe, welcome!

I also got mine a couple of months back. Yours looks like a Maranello car, with the Thames in the background; was it James you bought it from? I have the same joy with mine. Except yesterday when I kerbed two wheels in one day. What a tw@t! I decided to hold off getting them fixed until its next service at the end of the summer by which time I may well have done it again.

My wife has commented how the car makes other people smile. Whether it's how darn good Masers look or that delicious rumble, or maybe a bit of both. As a newcomer to the world of Italian cars I do feel I've missed out on a lot of fun until now. Despite a yearning for an Alfasud 1.5 about twenty five years ago only now have I found enlightenment.

Welcome. Sport and wet don't suit each other. I drive in Ice mode in the rain or manual normal - keeps it under control better. Sport when its dry IMHO.

Exe, welcome to the madness of Maserati ownership! However, you are amongst like minded individuals so your affliction won't stand out. Have fun and enjoy!

Hi Exe, welcome to the home of the permanent grin... What tyres do you have on it as some perform more predictably in the wet; but sport & wet will bite you eventually, take it easy!

Welcome, welcome. Yes, the exhaust sound is intoxicating, with the lovely pop and bang, on lift up. My Tubi's on the back, lets my neighbours know, when im arriving, from 1/2 mile away!!:thumb1:
I love the later shape too. And Maserati is still this almost secret make, that people stop, and ask what it is!! I love that!
A few of the nutters on here, have gone to Le Mans, but no doubt will be around at some point!
Enjoy this site. Friendly, and no pompous attitudes, unlike some sites, I could mention! Just like minded petrolheads, who happen to find the best make out there. But keep it too yourself!:as004:
