Its just a sign of the time I am afraid. I used to be a "fuel of the devil" knocker, right up to the point I owned one and my opinion changed over night (Alfa JTD)...power and fuel economy.

Get where your coming from though.....just think, one day a Maserati will run and electric engine.

Front end looks like the BMW 3/4 series to me, I'm sure like most Maserati's it will look better in the flesh

It has to be to a certain extent as in order for the brand to survive they need to widen their appeal. It's a fine line but on the surface of it, looks-wise, I think they've done a pretty good job.
