I know we have been promised this car, around the £50k mark, but do we know anymore as to what it might be?

I had a good search round yesterday and could not find a mention of it.

Anyone else know any more about it.....

Maserati need to fill the void left by the demise of the coupe and Gransport. The Granturismo is an altogether larger animal............perhaps a nice small 2 seater sports car with a V8.........lets just hope it isn't some 4 x 4.

My only worry is that it will encroach on the GT, so what I see happening is them dropping the GT 4.2, and only have the 4.7 GTS and Cabrio. Then the new model will have the 4.2, but I recon they will detune it, as being smaller and lighter, it will harm GTS sales if too quick. It could always end up with a V6 you know.

I hope they detune the 4.2, because then we can tune it up again, happy days!!!!

Anyway, interesting times ahead.

Matt, you are right thats the natural thing to do...I would imagine they dont' sell many new GT now the S is out.

2 seater with a V8 engine just behind them. Ooh now wouldn't that be something!

Any way of finding out what the numbers are? or will it be a closely guarded secret...
be intersting to see if the GTS really is a much bigger seller than the GT, I am not so sure,
Regards,
Enzo.

Pre Fiat I know, but they managed it with the Bora. If the man from Del Monte said yes, they could do it again. Not necessarily an entry level car I grant you, but sub £100K with GT DNA would put some distance between it and the prancing horses.
