Looks great Matt. One thing I often find can be a problem is limits on picture sizes. Will there be any?

There will be a limit of 9 and the software will resize it to a thumbnail and a main pic at a width of 800px

Ok, just an update.
As you know we got mucked about by several coders (all from india) so we ended up doing it in house. We have been very busy of late, but Trev has nearly completed the system that has taken many weeks of coding.
It will be going into test later this week with a view to release a few weeks after.

Well, its initially for sponsors to advertise their stock.
Of course, if any of us 'Members' want to sell then sure, it will be free.
I just need to get my head round what to do with the people who will abuse it, the guys that come on and say hi, then sell their car then never come back.
I might introduce a charge for members who have say less than 100 posts or have been members less than 3 months, something like that.

Looks great Matt. One possible request, to have the ability to show items by 'newest ads first' is always a useful function.

Dicky, yes, I understand, but its an old Pistonheads trick, the dealers adding and removing their ads every few days or so to get to the top.

You could police it fairly easily. There's only me as a sponsor that sells them and then members have to be ones who've been on for a while anyway so other dealers won't be able to abuse it. If I abused it, I'd soon be sussed by the members on here so wouldn't bother in the first place. If other sponsors emerge, it's only likely to be the other 2 Maserati specialists anyway.

The minimum posts is a good starting point and a minimum 3 months membership is too. We don't want the section to be abused and we all know it would be if it was allowed to be. Sponsors are not daft and the members would cotton on as Dicky says, if they were. Simple common sense ground rules will work.
