New car musing

After the Mini going AWOL and moving out of Ireland I'm due an automotive reshuffle.
I'm thinking of chopping the X5 for something like this:

What's the consensus on this kind of thing?

Oh not the defender, no matter how hard you try, they are still an old farmers car which are used to transport the dogs. Didn't think you would want another off roader Dan as you have an X5.

Not for me Dan, but then I do not have dogs and live in a national park......They are a proper 4 X 4 and drive like one to so no where near as comfy as your X5.......Sounds like it would suit your needs though...

Nice truck Dan although it might be a bit wheezy with a 2.4 soot chucker in, better you get one with a V8 as it would continue the theme! An AMG G Wagen is supposed to be a good car.

Its ideal for you Dan and so reliable , Adam if you were to see where Dan lives its an ideal vehicle , he also has two gorgeous dogs and yards from his house are those god dam awful cattle grids every mile or so , best kind of vehicle in my book Dan

Yep only over there once a month now Loz. I think Amélie is the most impressed as every morning she runs into the bedroom with a huge smile and shouts DADDY!
On a speperate note, I've not heard from your mate yet, I am interested if he wants to give me a shout.

Love the Defender a proper country vehicle.

Just as a heads up though there has been a spate of Defender thefts in this part of the world, a good friend of mine has sold his after being assaulted during an attempted theft.

Might be worth asking round to see how popular they are with the local car thieves where you are especially given you recent experience.

Funnily i spoke to him this morning , he did try and ring you on the Monday but couldn't get through , i'll text him again , he's been really busy of late (i take that as a good sign ) he's definately interested
