Hi Everyone.
I am new to this forum and after having a chat with a very helpful Matt at SportsItalia he suggested I ask if anyone in the Birmingham/Oldbury B68 ADA area would be able to assist me by coming to view the above vehicle. I would be very grateful as I feel quite out of my depth and someone's support would be invaluable to me. I am happy to pick anyone up and compensate for their time and knowledge. Just a little info on the car. It is at a dealership having a few repairs. I have put down a refundable deposit. Once the work is done I have opportunity to view and test drive the car again. There is a ticking noise coming from the camshaft area which Matt has given me some ideas and also on the MOT the front discs are mentioned as an advisory as pitted and worn. The salesman says to ignore the ticking as it is 'normal'. And he is disinclined to change the front discs but is changing the rear ones. Of course, as I have little knowledge I don't really know what to look out for. Thanks for your time in reading this post. Kind regards. Jem
