I follow a few channels on Telegram and have noted that the Russian Artillery is being depleted quite considerably. On average 30-40 units a day are being put out of action, granted they have a lot but 900 a month will take a toll on any army. So much so that the Russians are pulling stuff out of the reserve.

Another fact, the Victoria Cross was introduced on 29 January 1856 by Queen Victoria to honour acts of valour during the Crimean War. The traditional explanation of the source of the metal from which the medals are struck is that it derives from a Russian canon captured at the siege of Sevastopol.

Rumour has it that Russia are actively buying up VCs to make up more guns...
