MOT Today

Annual service booked at my "local" indy (130 miles away) next week. Unfortunately before then both MOT and tax expire so no choice today but to head to the MOT station with some trepidation. I needn't have worried, she strolled through with, at one point, three of the garage employees all standing underneath the Maser waxing lyrically about the amazing condition of the undercarriage !!

Well done on first time pass, it's a bit like going for your driving test!
Surely more than 10 by now, Dem...? Mines 10 this year, '03...

Mine is 12. Personally I think staying to watch your car being MOT'd is worse than going to the dentist...great feeling once it's (successfully) over though !

Hey P., don't forget this is a test to ensure your car meets basic safety rules. If it doesn't then surely you want to know about it?
Are you suggesting that there are some cowboy units out there, that would fail your car just so they could get some follow on work?

Of course Klive...I want her safe, but Autoshield and my local mechanic do that throughout the year.....we have government run proper MOTs over here........no cowboys unlike in GB!!!!!!!!

Great news, cannot be many Massers needing testing that far north so little wonder they all took a look under and over!
