iv always used it when buying a car, useful to check previous advisories and mileage :)

What annoys me most about MOTs is they've decided not to give you any evidence that the car has passed. Years of MOT certificates that used to be a clear reminder of when your car was due, gone. Petrolheads might manage it, but for me, this is a very easy way for the disinterested motorist to forget to MOT their cars - being cynical, but will there be a fine for not having and MOT, to help line the police coffers?
