Welcome and enjoy the experience. I also find that Alfas and Maseratis are mutually complementary.

The Giulietta was so close in it's day, sweet twin cam, twin weber or Dellautos, discs all round and a 5 speed box but mine has had a bit of extra development by Alfa Aid, suspension has been firmed up, lowered GTV 6 torsion bars, Eibach dampers and springs, 75 front discs and callipers, 75 LSD gearbox and C&B cams - which means it has a bit more get up and go, revs right through to the redline, corners flat and stops. Mate of mine hates old cars but agreed to drive it to Ireland for me, when he got here he just could stop talking about well it went, stopped and cornered.

Yes, the GTV is a great car to drive, very well balanced. I tried a GTV6 which was on my the list of modern classic's, but it had a much heavier feel to it and not as nice a driver has mine.
It had new front wings back in 2001 apart from that it is unrestored, I am trying to keep it as original has possible. Pic of the inside.
Andy you have some great cars there, I love the pic of the SZ thats a great angle. More on the Montreal later

The twin cam GTV is much better balanced than than the GTV 6 and therefore handles better but a GYV 6 with that Busso on song is a soundtrack to die for.

The SZ has been on many track days but has now been retired from such abuse. Fresh from a full strip and repaint she is now going through final stages of getting her back to better than she left the factory. refurbished wheels due early in the New Year and then the interior next winter. Both SZ and Giulietta are here to stay so happy to spend on them.
